What we process
When you submit content, It Said What? processes your question and the photo you selected. Your remaining free uses, selected photo, and its identified subject are stored locally on your device.
Third-party AI
Your question is sent to Alibaba Cloud DashScope to generate a reply. The selected photo is sent to the same provider for image analysis. We do not sell this content or use it for advertising.
Purchases
Subscription purchases and entitlement checks are handled by Apple StoreKit. It Said What? does not receive your payment-card details.
Retention and deletion
It Said What? does not keep a conversation history. You can remove the local background in Settings. Deleting the app removes its locally stored data. Alibaba Cloud's policy governs retention during third-party processing.
Age and wellbeing
It Said What? is intended for people aged 18 and over. Photo replies are imaginative fiction, not the thoughts of a real person, animal, or religious figure. It is not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, or an emergency service.
Your choices
When you select a photo or submit a question, the selected photo or text is sent to Alibaba Cloud DashScope for image analysis or reply generation. The system photo picker grants access only to the images you choose.
